Q. Do my DIY fabric Awning and Blinds come with all the fittings to install?
A. Online Blinds custom made products come assembled with installation instructions and all the necessary screws, brackets etc to install for a timber and brick/masonry.
Wall plugs are not supplied for brickwork/masonry. Steel screws will be supplied for a specified steel fit.
Q. Are your DIY Awnings and Blinds 100% made to measure or are they cut down blinds?
A. All our blind and awning products are custom made to your provided measurements and manufactured in Australia and we use Australian components where possible. How to measure information for each of the DIY products are on the quote forms for each of the products.
Q. What types of fabrics are available?
A. The Auto Lock Retractable and Fixed No Frame Awnings are available in the Canvas, Acrylic and Mesh Fabrics, the Crank Operated, Cord & Pulley, Spring Roller and Side Channel Blinds are only available in the Mesh Fabrics. To view the fabric pdf files follow the fabric link on the home page.
Q. What are your payment methods?
A. We accept Master and Visa cards either by phone or completion of credit card form found on the website and Direct Deposit bank details are on the confirmation quote/order.
Q. Do you notify me when my order is despatched and what happens if the order does not arrive?
A. Yes, when we despatch your order we email you the con note details and tracking website for you to track your delivery. If your delivery does not arrive in the estimated transit time please contact Online Blinds and we will make enquiries with the freight company for you.
Q. What is the warranty?
A. We use only the best quality materials in manufacturing of our DIY blinds and awnings. We are happy to provide a 100% manufactures guarantee where we replace or repair any faulty materials or workmanship. We will not be held responsible for the intentions of where and how our product is installed. We offer a 2 year warranty on manufacturing and all components.
Q. How long will it take to get my awnings and blinds?
A. General manufacturing and delivery time for our DIY blinds and awnings will be approximately 2 to 4 weeks. We are based in Queensland and delivery transit time will vary throughout Australia.
Q. What if my awning arrives damaged?
A. Unfortunately damages can happen from time to time with freight companies. Please note our products are packed in bubble wrap and does not always show damage on the outside. Please contact Online Blinds as soon as possible with photos of the damage and we will arrange to replace the damaged components for you.
Q. Where can you deliver to?
A. Online Blinds deliver to any state in Australia. We deliver directly to your door or any address of your choice. For some remote regions we offer delivery to the nearest depot for collection. We do not deliver to P O Box addresses.
Q. What happens if I am not home?
A. If you know you are not going to be home to accept delivery, we are able to authorize the delivery company to leave your order in a specified safe place of your choice. Please let us know when you place the order.
Q. Can we request samples of the fabrics as I am not sure how accurate the colours are on your website?
A. Yes, we offer a free sample service please send an email firstname.lastname@example.org with your choice of samples, product type and postal address.
